The inception of Agroecology Learning Circles and local methods of composting

The 17th of August, 2020 marked the inception of ALC Umsawnoldhi with 14 members. One member distributed the first compost among the ALC members of Umsawnoldhi, some members dived into training; they were Bah Phrangsngi Kro (Community Facilitator), Bah Ton Kro, Kong Tril Kro, Kong Etis Kro, and Kong Martha Ranee

An ALC workshop on problem-solving, objective setting, and community work plan was conducted on February 18, 2022, at Sohmynting Community Hall, West Jaintia Hills. ALC members of Larnai, Lumtrep, Ksehrynchang, and Sohmynting of West Jaintia Hills District were all present in the workshop that was conducted by NESFAS along with Social Service Centre (SSC) and Society for Urban and Rural Empowerment (SURE).
