SEEKING A WELL-TRAINED CONSULTANT TO DEVELOP AN INNOVATIVE BUSINESS PLAN FOR A NEWLY ESTABLISHED SOCIAL ENTERPRISE OF NEGLECTED LOCAL FOOD AND SERVICES
We believe that as we globally face a climate breakdown, Indigenous Peoples’ Food systems with appropriate innovative support can benefit people, nature and climate. We have therefore started a new For-Profit Company to support our vision – Mei Mariang (Mother Earth)
Our vision is that our landscapes, our youth and our local food systems together with our traditional caring and sharing values can provide unique, nutritious and nature positive food and services for the future we all want.
We are initially seeking a highly motivated, passionate and qualified Consultant who shares our vision and who can help us lay the grounds to recruit Mei Mariang’s Head or Managing Director (MD) to lead our enterprise focused on Indigenous Peoples’ Food systems, cultures and landscapes.
The consultant will help us craft the Mei Mariang Business Plan which will include :
- Developing the company’s strategic plan in alignment with the mission and vision of preserving and promoting Indigenous Peoples’ food and cultures.
- Creating a clear and detailed roadmap for Mei Mariang with milestones and success parameters. This will include Market Analysis, Marketing and Sales Strategy, Financial Projections, Operational Plan, SWOT Analysis and implementation timelines
- The roadmap should factor in emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in the indigenous food and cultural sectors to drive growth and innovation
If an outstanding Business Plan is prepared, the Consultant, if interested, could also be considered as a possible candidate for the post of Managing Director (MD).
The Consultant fees and period of the Consultancy are negotiable.
