Over the years, indigenous farmers from our partner communities have acknowledged and slowly adopted new and innovative appraoch for the production of healthy food while protecting both the ecology and the traditional farming system.
A workshop with Agroecology Learning Circles (ALCs) was conducted at Selbalgre Community Hall, West Garo Hills, on 22nd February 2022. Farmers from five villages- Tosekgre, Bibragre, Misimagre, Dura Kalakgre and Selbalgre participated in the programme.
The 17th of August, 2020 marked the inception of ALC Umsawnoldhi with 14 members.
