Introduction

In this endeavour NESFAS is undertaking the upgradation of People’s Biodiversity Registers (PBR) through strengthening of Biodiversity Management Committees (BMC). As part of this work, NESFAS intends to conduct a socio-economic survey and subsequent gender analysis to better design the implementation strategy and achieve gender equity and social inclusion.
The overall objective is to understand people’s natural resource dependencies and assess how gender equity and social inclusion can be ensured through curated interventions for sustainable development through conservation efforts.
NESFAS, is therefore seeking paid interns to conduct household surveys in the following districts of Meghalaya – East and West Khasi, Ri -Bhoi and East and West Jaintia Hills districts.
